My Story: From Bihar to Himachal & Mohali

I grew up in Bihar in a simple middle-class family. When I was young, we did not have a lot of expensive technology at home. But whenever I got a chance to use a computer, I loved it. I was always curious about how websites work and how people create programs on a screen.

Because of this interest, I decided to study computer science. I completed my B.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) in Hamirpur. Living and studying in the quiet mountains of Himachal helped me focus on learning the basics of programming.

After finishing my college degree, I moved to Mohali in Punjab to start my job as a website developer. Mohali is a great city for IT work. Since then, I have been working every day to build clean websites, fix technical problems for clients, and learn new skills.

What I Do Every Day

Many people ask me what a website developer actually does. In simple words, I create websites and online shops that open fast on your phone or laptop and do not break when users click on them.

Most of my work is on the back part of websites and online stores using PHP, WordPress, WooCommerce and BigCommerce. In the last 4.3 years I have built more than 15 custom WordPress themes and plugins, and around 10 BigCommerce stores from scratch. I have also connected over 8 payment and API setups — Stripe, PayPal, Binance Pay, Twilio and other third-party APIs. When a client's store breaks during a big sale, I quickly check the code and fix it.

When a project needs a modern front end, I also build it using React.js, Next.js and Node.js, so the site looks clean, works smoothly on mobile, and opens without any delay.

How I Like to Work: Simple Code & Late Night Chai

I like to keep things simple. When someone asks me to build a website, they do not want a heavy website filled with unnecessary features that slow down their phone. They just want a clean site that loads quickly, works properly, and shows up on Google search.

My rule for coding is simple: write clean code, keep the website light, and check everything before launching. Whenever I face a hard problem or a tricky error in code, I sit quietly late at night with a hot cup of chai. Working at night when everything is peaceful helps me think clearly and fix difficult bugs easily.
